This is my second song for social cause after the song "Tamizh Inamae" for Tamil Eelam issue. To be frank i was not in Pondicherry during the time of the storm(Dec 27th Dec 30 2011). I was in erode visiting my sister but i came to know the seriousness by friends and family and when i returned i could see the damage myself. It was horrible or say like a war field where all those beautiful which gave shelter to birds, made Pondy greener and cool in summer were killed. I then decided to make a singles on the issue to spread the word on Tree plantation and also record the event in history.

So i joined up with my Friend Manikandan (MD, Qbase info Media) and Rotary club of Pondicherry , Aurocity who jointly organised and produced the song. This video is fund raiser for the Tree plantation fund to RC, Aurocity.

Oh happy memories are occupying my mind when i write this post and for everyone when they think of their COLLEGE DAYS.
When i step in to my college(Manakula Vinayagar Engg College, Pondicherry) i found there was no culturals or no college band. The college management had no idea on culturals and more over had a great opinion that its waste of time. Since i was admired already by Pecofes and Spandan i wished my college should have one. But at first i need a Band..i was completely lost till i met my friend Ravi who is not a great drummer but had once sat on the drums. Our common dreams made us friends and we jointly took care on the arrangements of anything related to the band. We then joined with my Friends Anto , Manikandan(My Business partner too) , Jerin George and others... and formed a band which literally bit the dust on Pecofes 2000 ....Well therereafter the scene changed, we sincerely started practicing(learnt)and formed a better band. After many struggle the management agreed for the culturals and even sponsored for us for our inter college participation. We are happy that we initiated the culturals in our college which is still happening. Later we won the third place in Pecodes 01...that was great boost to us...
Late 2002 , it was the time our "untitled" college band was in a full throttle. We selected tough, challenging songs the following year and performed well and won the first Prize in all the competitions we competed...... Some of them are Pecofes,Karaikal Eng College Culturals, Spandan, Chengalpet Medical College etc..

The above photo was taken in 2002 when harris jeyaraj had just completed Minnalae. We participated in Prism 2k2, an inter college competition organized by my friend Vivek. The show was inaugurated bu Nataka (Studio desinger and guitarist of rahman) Harris Jeyaraj presided over the function and handed over the first prize to our BAND.

Dr.Velu Saravanan an international Comedy theatre artist(better known as Velu mama in Makkal TV) who resides in Pondicherry decided to play the tamil version of William Shakespeare's final Drama - The Tempest(Suravali in tamil). Dr. Indra Parthasarathi did the tamil translation. Velu Saravanan directed the show and casted as Maruti (Ariel, an airy spiritand), Dr.Siva Ilango(My uncle) as Mandhiravathi (Prospero, the Right Duke of Milanand), Visagan as Karuppan (Caliban, a savage and deformed slave), Kovalan(My cousin) as Arakan and many more
The show took place in Bharat Nivas Auditorium, Auroville on March 21st 2010.
I had computer setup below the stage and did the scoring using Sonicsynth vst. I already sequenced some of the scenes and played above them in the show.
My intension is not to hurt or insult the legends who made this audio track for tamil semozhi but i felt this new video would be the best suitable one than the original made by Gautham menon

In june 2008, i got a call from Mani, my friend/partner asking me to meet Mr.Antony, Manager of Neyam Music channel. Neyam music was in a urge to release an album and they look forward to work with a composer from pondicherry. Myself and My friend Vimal had composed a song named "Freedom" in 2006 for Freedom Jam Event in Pondicherry and later the song was forgotten by me. When Antony met Mani for a business proposal he happen to hear the song and he liked it.So that's how i happen to Rope up with Neyam Music
We had the pooja for the album on 9th july 2008. When i was attending it, i was afraid and had less hope whether i could do my job properly coz i had never done music for someone before. I started believing myself more when i recorded my first song "Mudhal Murai"......................(I had blog ed on each song separately below)
I composed 4 songs for the album. We planned for 6 but due to budget we came up with 3 songs and 1 Theme music. All of the 4 songs had been made video.......will post the youtube song links soon...........My favorite number is Enathuiyirae
The album had a very little budget and we tried to co-operate with that. We made sure that we give opportunities to the people of pondicherry. So we had a audition test in Sound garden Recording Studio and selected 2 singers namely Thiyagarajan and Sowmiya.

First Song of the album Featuring Thiagarajan and Sowmiya as lead vocals and Amaya and Antony as Lead actors. This song is a pattern driven song. All the areas like bass, rythm, arrpegs are created as patterns and used. Some loops of flstudio are also used in the song. I used Sonic synth vst plugin for chords,bells,synth sounds with my yamaha midi controller. This Hiphop and RnB combination worked for telling the romantic sadness and precaution in Love.
This song was recorded 4 times for the perfection in the Male version
The Voice at the end of song "Kadhal 420" belongs to Yuvaraj of Hello Fm . You might be already familiar with his voce "ithu 106.4......ithu than Right Number"

This song is 100% manual right from keys to flute. I used a Korg Triton and Korg o1w. I personally thank Lyricist Pudhuvai Pradha and Pianist Kenny for their outstanding work.
Thaigarajan was the lead singer and actor in this song along with deepika and nithya as chorous singers and nandhini as lead female actor.
The song was shot around Puducherry. As you can notice Cinemotography plays a main role in the song. V.B.Siva, the director of photography is my close friend too. The shooting schedule was 3 days. i hope you like this number

Like all, i was worried on the genocide on tamils on eelam......... also i wished to compose a song creating awareness on the struggles of the civilians there..... when i was filled with these thoughts Tamil Leader Mr. Pazha Nedumaran happen to attend a book release function organized by a Tamil literary foundation run by my parents....so i approached them for is it possible to release the song by the Chief guest...they agreed instantly but they doubted whether it will be possible coz only 4 days were left.......Since i was already prepared with the tune it doesn't matter for me to put the singers ,music in the recording together...........I didn't want a complex music score for this song not only for the lack of time also but keeping in mind that the music should not dominate the lyrics

Mr.Nehru founder Of Manithaneya(Humanity) Makkal sevai iyakam recently joined in Congress with around some 10,000 followers in Puducherry. Mr.Nehru also happens to be the Md of Neyam Music channel which i am related with. I was asked by Mr.Antony, Manager Neyam music channel to compose a Theme Music in a friendly manner and this is it(Main vocals by Thiagarajan and chorus by me and him) (The audio quality was too good...since it was compressed for video and again in youtube the quality is little bit less now)
Neyam Music a popular music channel in puducherry and also new of its kind. Recently i happened to be one of the judge in the Star singer program. There were nearly 300 participants consisting of 8 rounds...while i write this post i had completed 3 rounds and elimitated 250 participants..now its time for trailor............I was approached by Neyam Music channel to compose a Theme song for their program and here it is :)
