Let it Be - Beatles -Karaoke version

Let it be, the song from the final album of Beatles(Album named Letitbe) was not a apparent Christian song. Here Paul McCartney refers Mary to his mother not Mother Mary. One of my favorite song in times of worry.

I used a Technics keyboad(forgot the model number) to play keys, chords, leads etc.. and used some ready made drum loops for the song. I recorded the song in Soundgarden Studio, Pondicherry owned by my friend Joe.

Let it be album had the largest initial sales in US record history up to that time and the song has many unique traces in history. For more information on the song visit here.

So if you are not John lenon you will love this song and below is the link for your karaoke version of Let it be to sing along with

Deva and S.A rajkumar buys same audio cassette ! :)

Some years back two Tamil films namely "Thullatha manamum thullum" and "Kanethirae thondrinal" featured a song with same tunes. The respective music directors got em brassed when two films released at the same time. The original track of both the songs is "Sayoni" from the famous Pakistani band "junoon".

Creativity can be inspired but not copied.

Watch this video link of Deva's reasoning of copying sound tracks. Deva has at least the guts and politeness to accept the fact.

I have made a track comprising of all these three tracks equally blended. Just give me your comments. Beat mapping all the tracks to a particular tempo can result like this.

Rahmans Musical treat in Saccarakatti

When rahman flews to bollywood and Uk one could not expect him in Sakkarakatti...The promotional poster say " A musical treat by rahman" when u listen to the tracks u can find how rahamn has turely justified the saying. 6 youthful tracks rendered by rahman are no doubt going to be the years top musical hits.

Every number has its own independent style. From taxi taxi by Benny, Blaze and Vion .........to Chinnamma Jhalak UN Nenjil...a remake version from hindi film "meenaxi" and there's also a roumor abt taxi taxi song that it is a copy of Daddy Yankees Gasolina but its nonsense

My favorite two numbers are Marudhani and I miss u da

Marudhaani (Madhushree and Rahman)

"A great melody from the master. Reminding one of Sahana Saaral, the song has sweetness written all over it. A soothing number with less instrumentation but more vocals. Hats off to the composer for trying this new variation. Rahman, the singer, is more than impressive."

every one like this track right from the begining the song starts...i was very much impressed even to make a Instrumental track of this song. I used Fl Studio for the flute simulation and acid 6 for arrangements coz i find difficult working with patterns in fl.

Below is the link to download the instrumental version of Marudhani song

I Miss You Da (Chinmayee)

"A brilliant number that is erotic and enigmatic. Rahman is at his best here, with flawless harmony. The musical interludes coupled with the erotic voice by the female lead takes the listeners by surprise. It is like feeling the soft warmth of the early morning sun while on a leisurely walk."

I am not sure how many of u will like "i miss miss u da" even myself didn't had a first best impression at this song..but once when i went to a gift shop i heared this number and was suddenly impressed. i could not even imagine how chimayee could be instructed to sing this song or how music might have been composed...brilliant work
